Inspection of diesel fuel cross flow box valve

The inspection cycle of diesel fuel transcube tank valves needs to be determined by combining multiple factors. The general recommendations are as follows:
1. Daily inspection (daily/before each use)
Focus on checking whether the valve appearance has cracks, deformation, corrosion, and whether the interface is loose or leaking.
Operate the valve switch to see if it is flexible, whether there is any jamming or abnormal resistance, and ensure that the opening and closing functions are normal.
It is suitable for tank trucks that are frequently used to detect immediate hidden dangers in time (such as loose bolts caused by vibration during transportation).
2. Regular inspection (every 1-3 months)
Comprehensively check the valve sealing performance, and the air tightness can be tested by pressure testing (such as injecting a small amount of diesel to observe whether it leaks) or soapy water smearing method.
Check the wear of the valve core and valve seat, clean up internal impurities (such as rust, sediment), and avoid blockage or increased wear.
Lubricate the rotating parts of the valve (such as screws, bearings) to prevent rust from affecting operation, especially in humid or high dust environments, the cycle needs to be shortened.
3. Special inspection (every 6-12 months or after specific scenarios)
After experiencing extreme weather (such as high temperature, heavy rain), long-distance transportation or major turbulence, it is necessary to focus on checking the tightness and structural integrity of the valve connection parts.
For key valves such as safety valves and emergency shut-off valves, functional verification (such as pressure relief pressure test of safety valves) must be carried out according to industry standards to ensure effective operation in emergency situations.
If the transport medium contains corrosive components (such as high-sulfur diesel), the inspection must be shortened to every 3-6 months to prevent leakage caused by valve body corrosion.
