1. Strictly Control Media Purity
Storage media must undergo rigorous filtration. Before filling, use a suitable filter to intercept solid particles, suspended matter, and other impurities to prevent impurities from entering the tank and forming scale. Select pure media that meet standards, and avoid using contaminated or unstable media to prevent the precipitation and deposition of easily crystallizing substances. Do not mix different types of media that may react chemically to prevent precipitates from adhering to the inner wall, reducing the risk of scale formation at the source.
2. Standardize Tank Operation Procedures
Control the flow rate when filling and emptying media to avoid vigorous agitation within the tank, which could cause impurities to suspend and adhere to the inner wall. Avoid prolonged static storage of media in the tank; periodically circulate or agitate the media to reduce sediment buildup. Maintain stable storage temperature to prevent extreme temperature changes from causing dissolved substances in the media to crystallize and form a hard scale layer. When emptying the tank, thoroughly remove any residual media to prevent long-term adhesion and hardening of scale.
3. Strengthen Daily Cleaning and Maintenance
Perform targeted cleaning of the tank regularly, using appropriate cleaning methods to remove the initial thin layer of scale deposited on the inner wall, preventing scale buildup. Use mild yet effective cleaning agents, avoiding the use of highly corrosive agents that could damage the inner wall coating, and preventing cleaning agent residue from causing secondary scaling. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse the tank to ensure no cleaning agent residue or impurities adhere to the inner wall, and allow it to dry completely before use. Pay special attention to cleaning the bottom of the tank, weld seams, and other areas prone to scaling, preventing long-term accumulation of deposits.
4. Optimize Storage Environment
Place the oil storage tank in a temperature-stable, dry, and well-ventilated environment, avoiding moisture or drastic temperature fluctuations that could cause medium deterioration and impurity precipitation. Keep away from sources of pollution such as dust and fumes to prevent external impurities from entering the tank and accelerating scaling. Keep the inside of the tank dry to prevent moisture residue from mixing with the medium and forming sediment. Regularly check the tank's sealing performance to prevent rainwater, condensation, or external impurities from seeping in, reducing factors that induce scaling.
