1. Conduct Basic Inspections and Protective Measures
Before use, thoroughly inspect the tank for damage, leaks, or other issues. Ensure it is properly sealed and that all connections and valves are secure. Also, check that all protective accessories are intact and that anti-static and explosion-proof devices are functioning correctly. Operators must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid direct contact with the oil to minimize safety risks.
2. Follow Standard Operating Procedures
During filling and emptying, operate smoothly to avoid oil splashing and static electricity generation. Keep the operating environment clean and dry. Avoid striking or bumping the tank during operation to prevent damage. The filling volume must be controlled within a reasonable range to avoid overfilling and abnormal pressure. Ensure a smooth discharge flow, do not arbitrarily dump residual oil, and follow standard operating procedures.
3. Control Environmental Requirements
Choose a well-ventilated area away from heat and fire sources, and avoid flammable and explosive materials and densely populated areas. Avoid outdoor operation in extreme weather conditions to prevent environmental factors from causing safety accidents. The storage area must have a flat and firm surface to ensure the tank is stable and does not tip over or shift, providing a suitable environment for safe use.
4. Perform routine maintenance and storage.
After use, promptly clean oil stains from the tank surface. Regularly inspect the tank structure and accessories for wear and tear, addressing any problems immediately to prevent the accumulation of potential hazards. For long-term storage, drain any residual oil, ensure proper sealing to prevent impurities from entering and causing corrosion. Properly store all accessories to ensure they are in good working order for the next use, extending the equipment's lifespan and ensuring safe operation.
