Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Hazardous Wastes

In Jilin Province, hazardous waste containers and packaging, as well as the facilities and places for the collection, storage, transportation, utilization, and disposal of hazardous wastes, shall set up hazardous waste identification signs in accordance with regulations. The landfill site of hazardous waste shall be provided with permanent identification marks for hazardous waste. The collection and storage of hazardous wastes shall be carried out according to the characteristics of hazardous wastes. It is forbidden to collect, store, transport, and dispose of hazardous wastes that are incompatible in nature and have not been safely disposed of. It is forbidden to mix hazardous waste with non-hazardous waste for collection, storage, transportation and disposal. If non-hazardous waste and hazardous waste are mixed and cannot be separated, they shall be managed in accordance with hazardous waste.
