1. Comprehensive Pre-Operation Inspection
Before commencing operations, a comprehensive inspection of the Mobile refueler is required. Carefully check the equipment's exterior for any damage and confirm there are no signs of leakage in the fuel storage container; check that the refueling lines and connectors are securely connected to avoid any looseness; verify that the metering instruments, emergency shut-off devices, and other components are functioning properly, ensuring that all equipment functions meet safety operating standards. If any abnormalities are found, immediately stop the machine for repair; operation with a malfunction is strictly prohibited.
2. Standardized On-Site Environmental Requirements
Choosing a suitable work site is fundamental to safe operation. The work location must be far away from sources of fire, heat, and storage areas for flammable and explosive materials. Avoid operating in enclosed spaces or poorly ventilated environments; ensure that no unauthorized personnel are present at the site, and set up clear safety warning signs to remind passersby to be cautious; also pay attention to weather conditions, and suspend outdoor operations during thunderstorms, strong winds, or other severe weather to prevent accidents.
3. Strict Adherence to Operating Procedures
During refueling, the operating procedures must be strictly followed. Operators must wear anti-static work clothes, insulated gloves, and other protective equipment to avoid direct contact with fuel. When starting the equipment, follow the correct operating procedures, controlling the refueling flow rate to prevent static electricity buildup due to excessive flow. Closely monitor the equipment's operating status and fuel level during refueling to prevent spills. If work needs to be paused, close the fuel outlet valve first, then stop the equipment.
4. Prepare for Emergency Response
Develop emergency plans in advance and prepare accordingly. Sufficient fire extinguishers must be available at the work site, and operators must be familiar with their use. In case of fuel leakage, immediately stop work, close relevant valves, and quickly clean up the leaked fuel with absorbent materials to prevent further spread and potential hazards. In case of fire, initiate firefighting measures immediately and call emergency services for assistance as needed.
5. Conduct Regular Equipment Maintenance
Regular maintenance is a crucial aspect of ensuring equipment safety. According to the equipment instruction manual, regularly clean and inspect the fuel storage container, pipelines, valves and other components of the Mobile refueler; replace aging or damaged parts in a timely manner to ensure that the equipment is in good operating condition; keep maintenance records, detailing the maintenance time, content and equipment condition, to facilitate subsequent tracking of equipment operation and early detection of potential safety hazards.
