1. Comprehensive Preparation Before Transportation
A thorough inspection of the storage tank is required before transportation to ensure the tank is free of damage and leaks, the sealing devices are intact, and the valves operate smoothly and are in the closed position. The transport vehicle must be qualified and equipped with fire-fighting equipment, leak-proof tools, and other emergency equipment. Drivers and escorts must undergo professional training, be familiar with gasoline characteristics, emergency response procedures, and relevant safety regulations, and ensure they are qualified to work.
2. Scientific and Standardized Loading Operations
The loading site must be a well-ventilated area away from fire sources and flammable and explosive materials, with a flat and dry surface. During loading, the flow rate must be controlled to avoid violent sloshing of gasoline and the generation of static electricity. Sufficient expansion space must be left in the tank to prevent excessive pressure due to temperature changes. After loading, the sealing must be checked again to ensure there are no leaks at all joints. The tank must be securely fixed to prevent displacement during transportation.
3. Strict Control Throughout the Journey
Designated routes must be followed during transportation, avoiding densely populated areas, high-temperature areas, and locations with concentrated fire sources. Maintain a steady speed during driving, avoiding sudden acceleration, sudden braking, and sharp turns to reduce tank sloshing. Escort personnel must monitor the tank's condition throughout the entire process, regularly check the sealing interfaces and securing devices for integrity, pay attention to weather changes, and promptly stop at a safe area in case of severe weather. Fatigue driving and illegal parking are strictly prohibited.
4. Safe and Orderly Unloading Process
The unloading site must meet safety standards, be equipped with emergency protective facilities, and have clearly visible warning signs. Before unloading, connect the anti-static device and confirm that the receiving equipment is intact and meets storage requirements. During unloading, operate the valves slowly, control the flow rate, and avoid splashing to prevent static electricity generation. After unloading, promptly close the valves, clean any residue from the tank, and check for leaks before completing the transport handover.
