1. Routine Inspection and Maintenance
Regularly conduct a comprehensive inspection of the tank, focusing on any abnormal wear, corrosion, or leakage on the inner and outer walls, and ensuring the seals remain tight. Monitor the operating status of critical components such as valves and pipe connections, ensuring there are no loose parts or leaks. Promptly remove debris and standing water around the tank to prevent debris buildup from affecting heat dissipation or damaging components. Prolonged water accumulation may exacerbate corrosion at the tank bottom; proper drainage is essential.
2. Storage Media Compatibility Management
Strictly adhere to the equipment design standards when storing compatible media. Unauthorized changes to stored materials are strictly prohibited to avoid chemical reactions with the tank material, which could lead to corrosion, dissolution, and other problems, affecting the tank's structural stability. Before storage, confirm the characteristics of the media, determining whether it is flammable, explosive, volatile, or corrosive. Implement appropriate protective measures for different media to prevent safety hazards caused by incompatible media.
3. Surrounding Environment Protection Management
Place the tank in a well-ventilated, flat location away from fire sources, heat sources, and densely populated areas. Avoid storing flammable and explosive materials around the tank. Set up clear warning signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching or operating the equipment. Pay attention to the impact of extreme weather. In hot weather, take measures to cool the tank and prevent abnormal internal pressure due to excessive temperature. In rainy or snowy weather, promptly remove accumulated snow and water to prevent freezing and damage to the tank.
4. Follow Standard Operating Procedures
Operators must undergo professional training before starting work and be familiar with the equipment's operating procedures and emergency response protocols. When performing feeding and discharging operations, strictly control the flow rate to avoid static electricity generation due to excessive flow. Ensure proper static grounding. Regularly calibrate the equipment's safety accessories to ensure they function correctly. If any abnormality is detected, immediately stop operation, take emergency protective measures, and contact professional personnel for repair. Unauthorized disassembly or repair of critical components is strictly prohibited.
