● ELV (End-of-Life Vehicle) is the scrapped vehicle instruction. ELV is the scrapping vehicle recycling directive for the European Commission and the European Parliament to protect the environment and reduce waste generated by vehicle scrap.

● There are two contents, one is the four kinds of harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium which are banned for cars produced after July 2003. The second is to improve the recycling rate of end-of-life vehicles. All or most of the cost of recycling costs is borne by the manufacturer. The Recycling Directive identifies the two phases of the “Reuse and Reuse” and “Reuse and Recycling” of scrapped vehicles in the European Union and the recycling utilization targets, and clearly states the limits for recycling and the use or prohibition of heavy metals.
