1. Preparations Before Cleaning
First, completely empty the medium from the tank, close all relevant valves, and ensure proper isolation to prevent backflow during cleaning. Thoroughly ventilate the tank to reduce the concentration of volatile gases and avoid safety risks. Operators must wear compliant protective equipment and ensure personal safety. Before entering the tank, test the gas composition and oxygen content to ensure compliance with safety standards and the absence of toxic or harmful gas accumulation.
2. Scientific Cleaning Procedures
Select an appropriate cleaning method based on the type of deposits inside the tank, prioritizing neutral detergents and avoiding the use of highly corrosive chemicals that could damage the inner wall coating. For stubborn deposits, gently clean them manually or with specialized cleaning tools, avoiding rough handling that could scratch the inner wall. Avoid using tools that may generate sparks during cleaning to prevent potential safety hazards. Pay special attention to cleaning dead corners and weld seams on the inner wall of the tank, ensuring no areas are missed.
3. Thorough Residue Removal
After cleaning, rinse the inner wall of the tank multiple times with a suitable medium or clean water until the flowing liquid is clear and free of impurities, thoroughly removing cleaning agent residue and loose deposits. After rinsing, ventilate and dry the tank again, using natural or auxiliary ventilation, ensuring no moisture remains on the inner wall to prevent subsequent corrosion. Check the tank for any remaining tools or debris and clean them promptly to avoid affecting subsequent use.
4. Post-Cleaning Protective Measures
After cleaning and drying, carefully inspect the inner wall of the tank for any coating damage, rust, or other problems. Repair any issues found immediately. Seal all interfaces and openings of the tank to prevent dust, debris, or moisture from entering. Keep a cleaning record, specifying the cleaning time, method, and inspection results for future maintenance. If the tank is to be idle for an extended period, periodically check the sealing condition and internal environment to prevent secondary contamination or corrosion.
